Explanation of Stats Section

Stats

Price Expect price of the game in US dollars at the time of the writing
Age
Reported age range of players who may enjoy the game.  After the "/" is our personal experience on the age range
Players Intended player count for the game.  After the "/" indicates that there are play variants that might allow for a different count
Length General amount of time to play the game with set up included
Style General mechanic of the game, see table bellow for descriptions of style.  This will be added to as games are reviewed
Portability
Ease with which the game is transported and its resilience to damage or degradation while in transit
Set UpGeneral indication of effort to prepare the game for play
Stopability
This is a question of how easily the game can be put on hold or even ended prematurely.  As parents, or anyone with an full schedule may find, sometimes we must put the game up early.  Games with a high stopability can be ended easily and put away.  Games with low stopability may be difficult to put up or might be of such a style that the players are building an "engine" and to leave before it gets running would ruin the whole experience

Styles

Quick Matching This is a subset of the basic matching game concept.  In Quick Matching, there is a stimulus, such as a timer or direct competition which drives people to quickly attempt to match game elements.  
Quick Card GameThis is a subset of card game where there are no turns.  Instead the game mechanic rewards fast mental or physical reflexes.
Word GenerationThese are games where part of the mechanic includes the generation of words.  A diverse vocabulary is often a key element of success in these games.  
Differentiated GoalsPlayers have differing end game conditions or victory point conditions assigned to them as part of the game's core mechanic.
Head-to-Head StrategyAlthough most games entail some level of competitive strategy, Head-to-Head Strategy game's core mechanic intends for players to counter the actions of other player while promoting their own goals.  
Random ActionThe options presented to a player are dominated by random determination
Aggressive GameplayIn the context of tabletop games this indicates a game where a large aspect of the gameplay is targeted against other players.
